Beer of the Day

Havent had much time to get on here but my roommate and I made a great discovery last weekend. When selecting our case for the weekend we came across a $25 case of Stegmaier IPA coming in at about 6.7% which was a great deal. The beer itself is apparently brewed by the same company that makes the cat piss known as Lions Head. Anyway this beer was advertised as an IPA and sort of tasted reminiscent of a British style IPA, such as Bass Ale but was strangely enough, dominated by a Hefeweizen flavor. That being said, its a very odd beer but really isn't too bad considering the alcohol content and the price. Additionally, under each cap there are fun little riddles that are challenging when sober and pretty much imposible when otherwise. I digress..Stegmaier IPA, beer of the day.

Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA

The first time I drank 60 Minute when I was...I want to say 17 years old?..Anyhow, I got my 21 year old buddy to buy me a case, which I shared with a few of my buddies that night..all of whom were pleasantly surprised by this bitter substance. I dont remember much but I do remember that I got sufficiently shitfaced, and I've been drinking it ever since! Great first experience with an IPA, also one of my favorite breweries.

Hey guys, I really have no clue how this website works but I'll give it my best shot.

I'm an avid beer connoisseur and brewer and want to know as much as I possibly can on the subject of beer. That being said I thought it would be cool to start a blog on my "adventures in beer". It is a pretty corny title but I think it suites what I'm doing here haha...Anyway on here I'll be posting beers I've tried and what I thought of them, beers I am brewing, and other interesting things about beer. I encourage you to send me the names of beers so I can go out and try them and add them to my constantly growing collection of beers on my record. Cheers.
